About Martin & ClearPay

I was born and raised in Argentina, where I earned degrees in foreign exchange and bar & restaurant management. From my early days as bar manager and lead flair bartender at John‑John Recoleta, I learned that hospitality is about people, trust, and clarity.

In 2002, I moved to the United States to pursue a master’s program in hotel administration with Marriott Hotels — the beginning of a 20‑year journey building teams, opening venues, and fixing broken systems.

BJJ: The discipline behind my work

I’m a Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu black belt under Robert Drysdale (Zenith) and Marcello Nunez (Porrada TC), and I’ve been training since 2013. Jiu‑Jitsu taught me the same lessons business owners live every day: dedication, resilience, trust in your partners, and the understanding that no one reaches the podium alone.

Why I built ClearPay

I built ClearPay to help business owners like me succeed with clarity, honesty, and real support.

After decades in hospitality, I saw how many owners were being misled by confusing statements, disappearing sales reps, “free equipment” that wasn’t really free, misinformation about rates, and hidden fees that quietly kill margins.

Business owners deserve better. They deserve someone who will pick up the phone, explain things clearly, and stay in their corner long after the deal is done.

  • Clarity
  • Fairness
  • Better solutions
  • Human support

A personal note

I’m disciplined, goal‑oriented, and organized — sometimes to a fault. I love my wife, my animals, and the life we’re building together. I’m also a huge advocate for therapy and personal growth.

ClearPay is an extension of that belief: business owners deserve someone in their corner.
